Seymour Library gets Blogging!

After reading through the beginning of Module 2 on Blogging and the various free blogging platforms available online, I decided to check them out in comparison to my own blog using blogger.

I took a look at Type pad and viewed their blog feeds and found information on how the Seymour Public Library in New York has recently implemented a blog, which is far more dynamic than their previous website and much more user friendly and eye catching.

The blog format has allowed the Seymour Library to post regular updates so that the site is always changing. There is also the opportunity to add comments, join RSS feeds, re-tweet articles on Twitter and ‘like’ the posts on Facebook. The ability to view recent posts and search the archive for past posts is also a function that provides users with quick and easy access to information on the Seymour Library blog.
